Banks supported by PayFile Pro

Generate bank-ready EFT and ACH payment files for major Canadian and US banks. No ERP, no treasury software, no setup fees.

PayFile Pro generates payment files in the exact format your bank requires — whether you’re paying suppliers in Canada via CPA005 EFT or running US payroll via NACHA ACH. We handle the bank-specific record headers, originator codes, and field formatting that get files rejected when you DIY in a spreadsheet. Upload a CSV of payees and amounts, preview the file, and download a bank-ready output you can submit through your bank’s online portal. Currently supports Canada’s six major banks, Canadian credit unions on Central 1’s PaymentStream AFT system, and all US banks via the ACH standard, with new banks added regularly based on customer demand.

Canadian banks (EFT)

PayFile Pro generates the format your bank requires — CPA005, 1464, or 80-byte EFT, depending on the bank.

US banks (ACH / NACHA)

ACH (Automated Clearing House) is the standard US batch payment rail, and NACHA is the file format banks expect when you upload a payroll or vendor payment file. Unlike Canadian EFT, the NACHA format is consistent across US banks — generate one file and submit it through whichever US bank handles your originator account.

Frequently asked questions

What banks and credit unions does PayFile Pro support?

PayFile Pro supports major Canadian banks (RBC, TD, BMO, CIBC, Scotiabank, ATB Financial, and Credit Unions via Central 1 PaymentStream AFT) across the EFT formats each bank accepts — CPA005, 1464, and 80-byte EFT — plus all US banks via the ACH/NACHA standard. New banks are added regularly based on customer demand.

What if my bank isn't listed?

Submit a request via the form on this page and we’ll add it to the build queue. Most new bank formats ship within 2–4 weeks. In the meantime, a generic CPA005 EFT file works with most Canadian banks.

What file formats do you generate?

For Canadian banks, EFT files in the format each bank requires — CPA005 (the Canadian Payments Association standard), 1464-byte, or 80-byte EFT, depending on the bank. For US banks, ACH files using the NACHA standard. Bank-specific record headers, originator codes, and field formatting are handled automatically.

Do I need to share my bank login or account credentials?

No. PayFile Pro takes payee details and amounts you provide, formats them per your bank’s requirements, and generates a file you upload manually to your bank’s online portal. We never hold, store, or transmit your bank credentials.
