Generate RBC Standard 152 (Direct Deposit / PDS) credit files for the RBC Standard 152 service. Supports CAD and USD payments. Mixed currencies allowed in one file.

All file generation runs entirely in your browser — no banking data is sent to any server.

This generator produces RBC Standard 152 (Direct Deposit / PDS) credit files only. Canada-only in v1. USA-destined payments are not supported in this version.

CAD and USD payments are both supported. You may mix CAD and USD payments in a single file. The Currency of Service matches your RBC funding account. Each payment must specify a Destination Currency of CAD or USD.

Output mode defaults to NL (full 152-byte records), which is correct for most RBC setups including Web File Transfer and FTP SSL. Use 80 only if your RBC connectivity explicitly requires 80-byte segmented records.

Transaction code is hardcoded to 460. Payment numbers are auto-generated. You do not need to supply these values.

File creation number must be 4 digits (0001–9999) and must differ from your previous 9 submissions. Use TEST when submitting a test file.

Always verify generated files with your RBC test process before live submission.

Before you upload

Download the Excel template or sample CSV below to see the expected column structure. The Excel template has all numeric columns pre-formatted as Text.
The META row must be complete and valid — errors here will prevent file generation. Client number must be exactly 10 digits: 6-digit RBC-assigned number + 4-digit subsidiary (use 0000 if no subsidiary).
Each PAYMENT row carries one credit payment. Destination Currency is required for every payment (CAD or USD). Mixed currencies are allowed in one file.
Institution number is 4 digits; branch/transit is 5 digits. Format columns as Text in Excel to preserve leading zeros (or use the Excel template which does this automatically).
Account numbers: do not zero-fill. Enter significant digits only, left-justified. Max 12 digits for Canadian banks.
Transaction code, payment number, and destination country are auto-generated — do not include them in the CSV.
If editing in Excel, Save as CSV (Comma delimited) before uploading.
