Generate ScotiaConnect EFT Import files for upload through ScotiaConnect using a preconfigured Payment Group.

Before you generate

All file generation runs entirely in your browser — no banking data is sent to any server.

This generator produces ScotiaConnect EFT Import credit files only (EO record type, 586-byte fixed-width, CRLF line endings). One Payment Group per file. Debit files are not supported.

Due dates are per payment row in YYYY-MM-DD format. Each date must be within −30 / +60 days of today.

Cross-reference, sundry, CPA code, payment type, and address/contact fields are generated automatically. Always verify generated files in ScotiaConnect before live submission.

Most users upload a prepared CSV. Use Enter in Browser to build a file manually or test with a small batch.

Before you upload

Download the Excel template and fill in one META row with your Payment Group, plus one PAYMENT row per credit.
Format institution, transit, and account columns as Text to preserve leading zeros. Institution: 3 digits; transit: 5 digits; account: numeric, up to 12 digits.
Due dates must be in YYYY-MM-DD format, entered per payment row. Dates must be within −30 / +60 days of today.
Cross-reference, sundry, CPA code, payment type, and address/contact fields are generated automatically — do not add them to your CSV.
Save as CSV (Comma delimited) — do not upload the .xlsx directly.
