Generate ATB Financial EFT 1464-byte credit payment files for direct submission to ATB.

All file generation runs entirely in your browser — no banking data is sent to any server.

This generator produces ATB Financial EFT 1464 credit files only. It does not support ATB debit files or ATB 96-byte files.

Each ATB EFT file must be single currency only. Do not mix CAD and USD payments in the same file. ATB supports both CAD and USD.

File creation number must be 4 digits (0001–9999) and unique per submission. Due dates must be in YYYY-MM-DD format.

Institution numbers must be exactly 3 digits; transit numbers exactly 5 digits.

Always verify generated files with ATB before live submission.

Most users upload a prepared CSV. Use Enter in Browser to build a file manually or test with a small batch.

Format institution, transit, and account columns as Text in Excel to preserve leading zeros. Institution must be exactly 3 digits; transit exactly 5 digits.
Currency is set at the file level in the META row — all payments must use the same currency. Change CAD to USD in the template if needed.
Due dates must be in YYYY-MM-DD format (e.g. 2026-01-10).
Save a copy as CSV (Comma delimited) — do not upload the .xlsx directly.
