Generate CIBC EFT 80-byte credit files. For CIBC setups that specifically require the 80-byte format.
All file generation runs entirely in your browser — no banking data is sent to any server.
This generator produces CIBC EFT 80-byte credit files only. Use this format only if your CIBC setup explicitly requires the 80-byte format. Most CIBC SMB users should use CIBC CPA Standard 005 unless your bank setup specifically requires 80-byte. If unsure, confirm the required format with your CIBC business banking contact.
Each CIBC EFT file must be single currency only. Do not mix CAD and USD payments in the same file. The selected currency must match the originator number and settlement account you are using.
Payment type is set to direct deposit credit — not configurable. Cross-reference numbers are user-supplied and must be unique within the file.
File creation number must be 4 digits (0001–9999), cannot be 0000, and must be unique per submission — increment from your prior file. File creation date must be within 7 calendar days of when you transmit the file.
Always verify generated files with your CIBC test process before live submission.

Most users upload a prepared CSV. Use Enter in Browser to build a file manually or test with a small batch.
Download the Excel template, fill in your EFT 80-byte originator details and credit payments, export to CSV, then upload here.
Use the Excel template to edit. Export to CSV only when you are ready to upload.
